Found along the banks of the Medina River are stands of the majestic cypress trees. When we have our heavy rains and experience floods, many times these majestic tall trees are uprooted and lay along the banks. A local furniture artisan has created a business of building fine furniture using these "flood trees" that he harvests from the banks.

One of these pieces is this Cypress Slab Desk. The top piece is a crosscut long section of one of the flood trees. Soft to the touch, glorious to the eye it rests atop two Texas cedar stumps.
Measures: 30.5" tall x 81" long (at longest point) x 31" wide. (chair not included)
