Wide open spaces, western landscapes and detailed images of the people who work and ride the land, is what inspired Scott's art work. The spirit of the West is still alive and he tries to capture it in each of his pieces. Sometimes this stunning beauty of the West is captured in a detailed study of a worn book and spur; other times in rodeo action or a working cowboy. Scott works mostly with acrylic paint on either paper or canvas. Texture, color, composition and detail are important aspects of his work, using both a heavy and light application of paint. Selected pieces from Scott's fine art painting collection are available as prints in limited editions. All prints are produced on museum quality fine art paper, using high quality Giclee process to guarantee beauty and long life of each print. Limited Edition print series are available in editions of 50. All prints are signed and numbered. |
